In 1992 Ron Kingery sold his Evansville, Indiana based food brokerage company of 21 years. Starting from scratch, he rented a small 15′ x 20′ office space in Carmi, IL and started his own grocery salvage and closeout business with nothing more than a phone, fax, and a handful of contacts.
Since then, he has relocated to a larger office complete with a 35,000 square foot warehouse and 25,000 square foot salvage grocery store called Little Giant Grocery Outlet. Kingery & Associates supplies many retailers throughout the United States including dollar stores, food banks, and correctional facilities. Kingery also labels its own vegetables and fruit under the names Little Giant and Garden Crest.
